The Rescue Mission
On a sunny day in April, a team of animal rescue workers from the ARC (Animal Rescue Corps) embarked on a mission to rescue 23 dogs and puppies from a trailer in a rural area. The rescue team, equipped with specialized gear and expertise, was determined to save these animals from the dire conditions they were facing.
The Conditions
The trailer, which was being used as a makeshift shelter, was in a state of severe neglect. The dogs and puppies were living in squalid conditions, with little to no access to food, water, or proper sanitation. The air inside the trailer was thick with ammonia, which was causing the animals to suffer from respiratory problems. The dogs were found to be suffering from internal and external parasites, including fleas and ticks, which were causing them immense discomfort and pain. The ammonia exposure was also taking a toll on the animals’ health, with many of them showing signs of respiratory distress.*
The Rescue
The ARC rescue team worked tirelessly to rescue the dogs and puppies, carefully extracting them from the trailer and providing them with immediate medical attention. The team was equipped with specialized gear, including flea and tick medication, as well as oxygen tanks to help alleviate the ammonia exposure. The dogs will also be microchipped and receive a free spay/neuter surgery.
