Our Story

AnimalShelterTips emerged from a need we experienced firsthand in the shelter and rescue community. While working alongside organizations of every size, we noticed a common challenge: the lack of accessible, accurate tools for the planning and calculation tasks essential to running a humane, well-funded operation.

Caring for animals relies heavily on experience and compassion, which are invaluable. However, running a shelter or rescue also benefits from precise numbers for operating budgets, capacity for care, the true cost of an adoption, and the supplies a kennel needs. We saw an opportunity to combine hard-won frontline experience with modern tools to help organizations stretch every dollar and save more animals.

Our team began developing tools that we wished existed when we started in animal welfare.
