We’re passionate about taking in cats
When it comes to rehoming your cat, only the best care will do. Cats Trust is an organization that prides itself on its knowledgeable and compassionate staff who are committed to finding your cat a great new home. We have years of experience in this area, and we’ve done our homework to make sure that when you entrust your cat to us, you can be confident that he or she will be treated with kindness and respect.
Here are just a few reasons why we stand out among other centres:
- Our dedicated team of employees have seen it all. There isn’t a question they aren’t prepared to answer about what might happen during the rehoming process, or the kind of support you may need as you say goodbye to your pet.
- We offer details about cats for adoption on our website so there will be no surprises for owners interested in taking them home. From descriptions and photos of each cat to special personalities or quirks prospective owners might want to consider before making their final decision, we make sure everything is smooth from start to finish.
We provide a safe haven for your pet
At our centres, we ensure that all cats are housed in a safe environment where they can feel at ease. Each of our cat enclosures has been carefully designed to protect your pet from the elements. Our state-of-the-art centres have built in heating and air conditioning systems so that whether it’s hot or cold outside, your pet will remain comfortable at all times. Further, each enclosure is made out of high quality materials with enhanced insulation so that your pet will be protected from predators (such as hawks and owls) at all times. We take the health and well being of your pets very seriously here at [INSERT NAME], which is why we have invested thousands in providing every enclosure with an automatic door that shuts when closed to prevent disease from spreading.
We ensure your cat is housed in the best way possible
At our rehoming centres, we make sure your cats are kept in the best environment possible.
Why? Because environmental enrichment is essential to a cat’s well-being. This can consist of many things, but the main ones are:
- A choice of places to hide or rest
- Room to roam and explore
- Environmental features that provide them with stimulation (e.g., scents, scratching surfaces)
- Opportunities for social interactions with other felines or humans
Your cat will be vaccinated and neutered whilst with us
When you adopt from us, we will have already vaccinated and neutered your cat. This is important for the cat’s health and well-being, and to prevent overpopulation of cats. If you take your cat to a vet, they may charge up to £50 just to do this. We will include a copy of their vaccination certificate in the carrier pack we give you with your cat. You can also call our team who will be happy to send you a copy of any neutering documents that prove that the castration has been done by us.
We care about the cats’ welfare
When rehoming a cat, we provide a safe haven for the cat and ensure their welfare is our top priority. We will provide the cat with food and water to make sure they are healthy in both mind and body. We try to ensure that the environment that we provide for them is safe, healthy and happy as this can have a positive impact on the well being of the cat.
We’ll help to find your cat a new home
One of the features of our service is that we will make sure your cat goes to a good home. We’ve been doing this for some time and we’re very good at it – so you don’t have to worry.
First, when someone adopts one of our cats, they must fill out an adoption form with information about their living situation and any other pets they currently own. This helps us get a picture of what kind of environment the cat would be moving into. If we feel that the new home isn’t suitable for whatever reason, we won’t place the cat there.
Ending up at a shelter can be very scary for a cat but you can rest assured that if we rehome your pet, he or she will end up in a loving home where he or she feels safe and secure.
We also speak to potential owners over the phone and sometimes do home visits before agreeing to let them adopt one of our cats. This helps us ensure that the arrangement is going to work out well for everyone involved (including you).
Cats Trust rehoming centres provide a safe environment for cats
When you choose a Cats Trust rehoming centre to help your cat find a new home, you can rest assured that they will be kept safe and well cared for. Rest assured that we will do our best to provide shelter, food and everything else needed to keep them happy and healthy until their forever homes are found.
We care deeply about the welfare of cats in our care, and make sure they are vaccinated and neutered before rehoming. We also microchip every cat who passes through our centres.
