Lake County’s Off-Leash Dog Park is an off-leash dog park located in Lake County, Florida. It is open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., seven days a week. There are three separate fenced fields for small dogs (under 20 lbs), medium dogs (20 – 30 lbs) and large dogs (over 30 lbs). The park also includes public restrooms with showers, picnic tables and a playground for children ages 12 and under. The facility was established in 2008 as part of the City of Leesburg’s efforts to provide more recreational opportunities for residents who have pets or enjoy spending time outdoors with their canine companions.
